Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Overview

Oculiq is an on-premise attention measurement project. This policy explains the privacy principles behind the product and how information is handled during a pilot or deployment.

2. Information We Collect

Source footage: Oculiq is designed to process camera footage inside the operator's own environment. Source footage does not need to be uploaded to Oculiq or a third-party cloud.

Analysis output: Oculiq generates aggregate attention statistics, confidence ranges, annotated evidence, and heatmaps. Faces are blurred in output and no identity profiles are created.

Operational data: Any local logs, sessions, or retention rules remain under the operator's control and should follow the operator's own data-governance policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To measure aggregate traffic and attention around defined physical surfaces
• To generate replayable, face-blurred evidence for reported metrics
• To calculate confidence ranges and signal-quality grades
• To support an agreed pilot or on-premise deployment

4. Data Retention & Security

Because processing is on-premise, the operator controls source-footage access, storage, and deletion. Pilot retention periods and output access are agreed before processing begins. Oculiq is designed so the source footage can remain within the building or operator-controlled environment.

5. Third-Party Processing

Oculiq does not require third-party cloud processing for source footage. Any optional external service introduced for a specific deployment must be documented and approved separately before use.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:
• Request information about how a pilot processes footage
• Request deletion of pilot outputs held by us
• Access or export agreed analysis results
• Raise a privacy or data-governance question before processing begins

To exercise these rights, contact us at murathan@npole.studio

7. Children's Privacy

Oculiq is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
